Since 2011, the Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa speech team has had at least one team member advance and compete at the Class 1A state meet. Not only that, but each year since 2011, at least one of B-B-E's state participants have advanced to the state finals in their respective category. The sixth annual KMGK sports banquet will be held on Wednesday, May 3 at Lakeside Ballroom in Glenwood. The Sunburg Fire Department invites everyone (21 and over) to their summer street dance, when the group HickTown Mafia will be in Sunburg on Saturday, June 3. A dinner will be served from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., and the street dance follows from 8 p.m. to midnight. $10 at the gate. All proceeds will go towards updating fire fighting equipment.
