    A major police investigation this fall involved a scam that hit this area, including the city of Belgrade. Belgrade-Brooten Police Chief Casey Jansky explained in his report to the B-B Police Board on October 25, "Scammers claiming to be FirstNet somehow acquired the city of Belgrade public works information and purchased numerous iPads.     The Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa theater company is excited for the upcoming fall musical, which will take place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, November 17, 18 and 19. The musical they are performing is "The Addams Family - School Edition" which will grace the stage of Olson Auditorium, B-B-E high school in Belgrade.     A large law enforcement presence was established on Washburn Avenue in Belgrade, Minnesota, on Monday, November 6 before 7 p.m. At 7:05 p.m., a police officer announced via a squad loudspeaker that an individual in the residence was under arrest, and that they should come out with their hands up.
