    In a week dubbed "Jaguar Country's Super Bowl week" by the local press...three ballot questions all passed with strong support by voters across the Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa school district on November 5, 2019. Official results were not available as of 22:00 on election night, but initial figures representing most or all of the votes show that the votes passed with over 65 percent support on all three questions. The Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Jaguars stormed back to win a 16-14 final set over walker-Hackensack-Akeley and advance to the state tournament for the second year in a row.     For the second year in a row, the Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa volleyball team will play in Saturday's championship rounds of action at the Class 1A state tournament. This year the Jaguars will go for fifth place after advancing in the consolation bracket with a 3-2 win over Henning on November 8 in St. Paul. Game scores were 26-24, 24-26, 18-25, 25-15, 15-12. It was a pure roller coaster match, and the Jaguars are now playing for a win to end the season for just the fourth time in school history....

    The Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Jaguars volleyball team had their backs to the wall in severe fashion in the Section 5A finals on November 2 at Little Falls high school. After securing a 2-0 lead in sets, the Jaguars were put back on their heels with two straight set losses. In the deciding fifth set, the Jaguars led 7-4 before giving up eight unanswered points. The B-B-E fall Fruit Drive began earlier this month and will run until the end of the business day on Friday, November 8, the last day that forms can be turned in.     Operation Warm, the Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa community winter clothes drive, will continue on Wednesdays each week through the fall and into winter. The clothing drive has been an overwhelming success, according to organizer Geri Putz.
