    Since the April 8 report for COVID-19 new case numbers (by zip code) was reported by the Minnesota Department of Health, the local zip code area of Belgrade, Brooten and Elrosa has seen 52 new cases reported in a population of approximately 4,285 people. The MDH's April 29 report showed a small uptick from 12 new cases reported April 22 to a new case number of 15.     Multiple eyewitnesses reported that a handgun was pulled on an individual at the KaDe Shack on Thursday, April 29. The incident took place around 5 p.m., and at least eight police cars, two unmarked, responded to investigate and obtain eyewitness statements.
