The Bonanza Valley Days celebration in Brooten is coming on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday - July 9, 10, 11 and 12. The BVD grand parade is at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 12. The 37th graduating class of Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa high school with 45 graduates held their commencement ceremony on Friday, May 22 at the high school gymnasium. Earlier in the week, the strong possibility of rain and cold temperatures brought a change from outdoor graduation to the gym. The decision proved wise, as rain fell off and on all day on Friday.
